Our music serves as a symbol of our support for a world marked by freedom and hope, starting with improved conditions for the Palestinian people. We strongly oppose hatred towards any religion and respect everyone's right to practice their faith in peace. We believe that when hope is taken away, people lose everything, and we are determined to remain united as a community.
The album cover features drawings from the 2016 book "A Shipload of Women's Memories: Narratives Across Borders," authored and illustrated by Ann-Dorte Christensen, professor of Social Sciences and Humanities, and sculptor Marit Benthe Norheim. This book recounts the stories of 18 women from diverse backgrounds who, despite coming from different nations and having lived through over eight wars, unite on the same boat to share their experiences. Notably, the book includes narratives from a Palestinian refugee and an Israeli with mixed heritage (Indian/Iraqi). Their collective mission was to provide hope for future generations and stress the importance of actively working towards coexistence.
All artists participating in this compilation call for an immediate ceasefire and an end to genocide, with a specific focus on the actions of Israeli occupying forces in Gaza and the West Bank. We reject the decades-long occupation of Palestine, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing, and we stand against all forms of violence, promoting solidarity and justice. We also demand the unrestricted provision of essential resources to innocent civilians in Gaza without any limitations.
We kindly request your generous donations for the compilation. Every contribution will be dedicated to supporting the invaluable work of Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières, with a specific intention to aid those who have been injured in Gaza.

Life in Warp is my debut album. Every sound (like literally every sound, every kick, synth, etc) you hear in the record was created from field recordings of living beings that have been endangered since the beginning of the Anthropocene.
Some of the sounds in the album were kept untouched from their original field recording, and others went through various processes of extreme digital manipulation in order to be transformed into all sorts of material. Blending the raw and processed sounds, the animal’s voices are recontextualized from their collapsing ecosystems into a new world of organic electronic music.
Life in Warp invites you to observe and experience wildlife in a new way, it invites you to pay deep attention to what sound has to teach us about the state of our planet, it gives you a chance to listen to the frightened sounds of the beings that have been ignored and tortured for far too long. In hopes that this album will give you courage to act against our’s and other beings' extinction.
We are facing the worst crisis humanity has ever seen. There are more than 1 million endangered species on the planet right now. Since 1970 Earth has lost 60% of all animal life. We are living through the 6th mass extinction. We urgently need to stop, listen, imagine and act. We manifest against the narratives of fatalism and of fake hopes!
Clock is ticking.

Special thanks to all the field recorders that shared their recordings with the internet and allowed me to bring to life such a project. To every human being that gives all they got everyday so we can have a future, this album was done for you and only possible because of your strength. To the SillySeason collective for the support, to Au Largo and to all my dear friends that tagged along this journey and were there for me every time I needed kind words, harsh critics or a reality check <333333

This is my first EP ever, so keep that in mind. It's a playground where I explore my sonic aesthetics and at the same time myself. When I'm in the playground I get out of my head hope it does the same to you

A lake by the mõõn is Duarte Eduardo's main musical output, where raw and ultraprocessed field recordings, traditional custom instruments and visceral electronics conspire to create ritualistic odes to Earth's organisms.
Sprouting in 2018 the project was quickly embraced and nurtured by the Portuguese experimental scene, presenting their live show in venues such as ZDB, Planeta Manas, Musicbox, Passos Manuel, and Igreja do Espírito Santo, having also performed at iconic parties such as Mina Suspension, and festival stages like Walk & Talk, Impulso, Rama em Flor and Queer Fest.
